Pre-Production

Every video project begins with a detailed plan.  We work with you to fully realize your concept and bring your ideas to life. We offer creative direction, brainstorming, storyboarding, script writing and location and talent scouting.

Production

We tell emotionally compelling visual stories by capturing light and shadow. Our team can work from your shooting scripts and storyboards or develop them based on your needs.  We are available to direct shoots, or work under the direction of the client when needed.

Post-Production

All projects require a balance of planning, execution and preparation for final delivery. We offer a full suite of post production services including logging, editing, motion graphics, audio editing, visual effects and color grading.   

Travel

Film and video production is a highly specialized skill. When combined with the rigors and challenges of travel, remote production requires a greater level of experience to work around the country or around the world. We have worked in over 20 countries and understand the intricacies of shooting remotely. 

JONATHAN MURPHY

Owner, Director

Jonathan is an industry veteran with over 14 years of video production experience. As a director, cinematographer and producer, he has a passion for balancing the creative with the technical. He has traveled worldwide producing a wide array of videos from concept to completion and brings an extensive skill-set to the table. His creativity, innovation and deep knowledge of his craft are the backbone of Harp. He has filmed throughout the U.S. as well as abroad, working in Russia, Indonesia, South Korea, Cambodia and over 30 countries. Jonathan continuously pushes himself, stretching artistically. As Harp’s chief creative storyteller, Jonathan guides each video from storyboarding to post production, overseeing all aspects of each film. His creative direction insures that every project is a masterful orchestration of story, technical expertise and a strong sense of visual aesthetic.

Shailey Murphy

Creative Consultant

Shailey works full time as Jonathan's business partner and her responsibilities include art direction, creative consultations, project management, script writing/storyboarding, video editing and sound/audio tech. She has worked on film projects in Egypt, Ethiopia, Uganda, Ukraine, Estonia, and Republic of Georgia and  traveled to 19 different countries. She is a rare mix of organizational and creative skills that are an important asset to the team. With a degree in design, Shailey brings a creative perspective to the Harp team that is fresh and new. She has won numerous awards for her designs including the Excellence in Design award in 2007 through 2008, an award from the Springfield Design Association in 2007 and was named one of 417 Magazine's "20 Under 30" Class of 2016.
